Day 84: crown rope braid

The crown rope braid is probably the easiest crown braid I’ve tried. The others crown braids I have made are: the dutch crown braid (actually what I did was more like a lace dutch crown braid), the flat crown braid with 4 strands (again the lace version of it) and the round crown braid with 4 strands (this seamed to me the most difficult I’ve tried). This might be an important reason to find this type of crown braid so easy…

Because it is a round braid I couldn’t hide the hanging part of the braid (I had the same problem with the round 4 stranded crown braid), so I made a rose bun and I was happy with the final result. I’ve also tried to hide the center of the crown, by combing more hair towards the back and I was again happy with how it turn out.

The technique used for this hairstyle is similar to the previous hairstyle – the asymmetric rope braid; except you have to go all the way round. It is a good hairstyle! You should try it!

Day 83: asymmetric rope braid

This hairstyle is a variation of the previous hairstyle. Instead of making a french rope braid, you can make an asymmetric rope braid. It is slightly difficult than the french rope braid, because you have to switch hands at some point, but it’s not big deal because you have only two strands.

So, start with a side parting in front, and this is where the rope braid starts. Continue to rope braid towards the back (almost like a crown braid) adding hair only from the bottom and twisting the strands towards the bottom (for me this works best). After you added all the hair, continue to rope braid as normal and secure the ends with an hair tie. You can very well wear your hair like this because it looks cute and interesting; or you can make an even cuter rose bun.

Day 82: french rope braid (and a beautiful hairdo)

I love this hairstyle very much!…

It is an unbelievable simple hairstyle for how sophisticate and elegant can look. All you have to do is to make a french rope braid. And to do that take the front section of your hair (after you untangled your hair – always remember to untangle your hair before any styling attempt) divide it in two, twist both sections in the same way few times, then rotate them in the opposite way (so that the sections will switch places), add small strands of hair to each section from the side, twist them again and rotate them again. Repeat this step until you reach the nape of the neck, then continue to rope braid as normal (you just twist and rotate without adding hair) and secure the ends.

And this is the french rope braid. It is a beautiful hairstyle; it is neat, comfortable, fast and easy to make… and – the best part – it can very easily be transformed into a breathtaking hairdo by simply making a rose bun to one side.

It is amazing!
