Here is the ballerina bun with 4 strands. It is not very easy to do this bun, but I can not say it’s difficult.
You start with a high ponytail, then you divide the ponytail in 4 sections and you start to twist and pin the same way as the previous buns. So, you have to alternate; you start with the first section and twist and pin, then the second section same thing, the third…, the fourth…, then you return to the first…, then you continue with the second… and so on… You will need smaller hair pins. You can do this hairstyle with bigger hair pins and it is going to hold very well, but if you prefer a neat look you have to use smaller hair pins.
I think this hairstyle will also look good on shorter hair; it’s probably gone look like a flower.
I’ve never tried this hairstyle before. This is the first time. Looks nice, I guess… I’m thinking to try tomorrow with 4 strands to see if I’m able to coordinate the steps. It shouldn’t be very difficult, I suppose…
The technique to achieve this hairstyle is similar to the previous one, except there are 3 sections of hair.
You can add few sparkly accessories to distract the attention from the “little imperfections”.
This bun seems more secure than the simple ballerina bun and more balanced. It also looks very nice. And it’s quite easy to achieve. It is harder to explain how to achieve.
You have to start with a high ponytail after, of course, you untangled your hair. Then, you part your ponytail into two equal sections and you start twisting each section and secure with hair pins around the base of the ponytail in an alternate way. So, you twist the first section, you pin it around, then you start twisting
the second section and you pin it around the first section, then you come back to the first section and twist and pin again around the second section… I hope it makes some kind of sense… And don’t forget to hide the ends as you finish the hairstyle.
You can add hairnet that matches your hair color to hold everything in place. You can also add silk flowers (or natural flowers if you want) only for decorative purpose.
